I realized that the office I was staying in was about to go up in flames, so I decided to wait for the right moment and jump out the window. Luckily we were only on the first floor, or else there was no way I could have been able to muster the courage to jump. Glass shards slicing through my skin, I made it through the barrier and using my adrenaline, ran to a nearby McDonalds and asked them to call the police.
